The Orchestra of Situation Opera The Orchestra of Situation Opera performs as both the resident ensemble, and also as a group in its own right. Between stage works, the Orchestra can be found exploring the best of Classical repertoire in venues around London. When it comes to Opera, the Orchestra usually dons its "blacks" and descends into the pit - obscured from the audience by the glare of the stage lights and the glamour of the action. However, for our production of Die Entführung aus dem Serail, the orchestra will be found performing right in the middle of it all - fully costumed and amongst the singers and audience.
